Welcome To ‘The Sullivans’

SullivanResidence.com was begun by the great grandson and namesake of Thomas J. Sullivan in the year 2008, the 100th anniversary of the year Thomas J. Sullivan posed his family before their home for the portrait that appears in the upper left corner of every page on this Web site.

Unfortunately, like many of the photographs in the Sullivan family archives, the aforementioned image bears no identification. In this particular case, we have deduced identities by the date and likely ages of the children at the time [see photo and IDs at this link], but in most of the hundreds of other photographs more information is needed. That is one of three primary reasons this website was begun — to make all photos available to Sullivan relatives and friends throughout the world who might be able to help identify who's who.

The other two primary reasons for launching this site were to share important family history information with other Sullivan family members, and to preserve and protect these items for future generations.
